Overview
Notion combines notes, wikis, databases, and project boards in one flexible workspace for individuals and teams.
Pros
- Highly flexible page and block-based editing
- Strong databases with multiple views
- Useful templates for teams and personal workflows
- Good collaboration and sharing features
- Cross-platform apps for web, desktop, and mobile
Cons
- Can feel complex for simple note-taking
- Offline functionality is limited
- Heavy customization can slow down setup
- Performance may lag in large workspaces
Verdict
Notion works well for teams that want one place for documentation, planning, and structured databases. It suits users who value flexibility and customization over minimalism. The main trade-off is that it can require more setup and judgment than simpler note or task tools.
