Overview
FigJam is a lightweight collaborative whiteboard that helps teams brainstorm, diagram, and organize ideas directly within the Figma ecosystem.
Pros
- Integrates smoothly with Figma
- Easy for non-designers to use
- Good templates for workshops and diagrams
- Real-time collaboration is responsive
- Clean interface with minimal setup
Cons
- Less powerful than dedicated whiteboard tools
- Limited advanced diagramming features
- Best suited for teams already using Figma
- Customization options can feel basic
Verdict
FigJam does a strong job of making collaborative whiteboarding approachable for product and design teams. It is best for groups already using Figma who need quick brainstorming, mapping, and async alignment. The main trade-off is limited depth compared to more feature-rich whiteboard platforms.
