What Is Harmony?

Harmony deploys AI agents inside Slack and Microsoft Teams that resolve IT, HR, finance, and operations requests through natural conversation. Instead of filing a ticket in a separate portal, employees message the Harmony bot in the channels they already use. The agent handles the request end-to-end or escalates to a human when it can’t.

The company was founded by Nitzan Shapira and Ran Ribenzaft, who previously sold cloud observability startup Epsagon to Cisco for $500 million. They raised a $34M seed round from Lightspeed Venture Partners — one of the larger seed rounds in the enterprise AI space.

Key Features

Context Graph

Harmony maintains a live model of each employee’s identity, devices, applications, permissions, and work history. When an employee says “my VPN isn’t working,” the agent already knows which VPN client they use, which device they’re on, and what changed recently. This context eliminates the back-and-forth triage that eats up most support time.

100+ Prebuilt Agents

Harmony ships with agents for common IT requests (password resets, VPN issues, software provisioning), HR workflows (PTO requests, benefits questions, onboarding), finance (expense reports, procurement approvals), and legal (NDA requests, contract questions). These agents work out of the box and can be customized.

70% No-Touch Resolution

Harmony reports a 70% no-touch resolution rate — meaning seven out of ten requests are resolved by the AI agent without human intervention. The remaining 30% are escalated with full context attached, so the human agent doesn’t start from scratch.

In-Channel Execution

Everything happens inside Slack or Teams. No separate portal, no context switching. The employee messages the bot, the bot resolves the request (resetting a password, provisioning software, submitting a PTO request), and confirms completion — all within the same conversation thread.

Who Is This For?

Pros

  • Works inside Slack and Teams — no new tool for employees
  • Context graph reduces triage time
  • 100+ prebuilt agents across IT, HR, finance, legal
  • Strong founding team (Epsagon exit to Cisco)
  • $34M seed validates enterprise traction
  • 70% reported no-touch resolution

Cons

  • Enterprise pricing — not published, likely expensive
  • Requires integration with existing ITSM/HRIS systems
  • Context graph needs time to build per-employee profiles
  • 70% resolution rate is self-reported
  • Slack/Teams dependency — no standalone option

Verdict

Harmony is attacking the right problem at the right layer. Internal IT and HR support is one of the last high-volume, repetitive workloads that most companies still handle manually. The in-channel approach is correct — forcing employees to a separate portal for password resets or PTO questions is friction that reduces adoption.

The context graph is the differentiator. Most AI support tools treat each request in isolation. Harmony’s per-employee model means the agent knows your device, your permissions, your history — and can skip the diagnostic questions that make support interactions tedious.

The $34M seed from Lightspeed, combined with the founders’ track record at Epsagon, signals serious enterprise intent. The main risk is that every AI company is claiming to automate internal support right now. Harmony’s advantage is being early with a working product and a context model that competitors will need time to replicate.
